There has been much speculation about who would follow the beloved band U2 at the sparkling new Las Vegas concert venue, the Sphere.
U2 has played a residency there since September and will wrap up its last show in February.
It was rumored that Harry Styles would play at the venue at one point. Instead, it’s another act with a torrid fan following.
It’s rock band Phish.
Phish will play four shows at the new venue in April 2024. Tickets go on sale on December 15 and you can sign up earlier starting December 11 at Phish.com. This will be the fourth time the group has played in Las Vegas but the first in more than two years.
It is unknown how much Phish will make but it has been reported that Styles was offered as much as $50 million for a Las Vegas residency. The four shows by Phish will take place on April 18, 19, 20 and 21.
Travel packages went on sale Friday, December 1.
Tickets can be purchased for all four shows or single concerts starting at $109 to $181. There is a sign-up request on the band's aforementioned website.
