About Collette

Headquartered in Pawtucket, R.I., Collette was founded in 1918 when Jack Collette offered his first tour: a jitney bus filled with travelers on a three-week tour to Florida from Boston for $61.50. Over 100 years later, Collette is still family-owned (helmed by Dan Sullivan, Jr.), and now offering more than 160 guided tours on all seven continents.

Among Collette's worldwide collection of tours is a variety of guided travel choices. No matter where (or how) you want to go, Collette can take you there. From vibrant cities to remote villages, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in many other worlds.

As part of a small group on our Explorations line, enjoy accommodations chosen to capture the spirit of the destination, savor spectacular local cuisine, and take the time to explore on your own. Along the way, Explorations sets the stage for the unexpected moments that make travel so special. With just 12-24 passengers, these are the personal adventures that today's cultural explorers dream about.

With Collette you can book confidently. Go ahead and book that dream trip, because when you purchase our Travel Protection Plan, you can cancel for any reason and get your money back - all the way up to 24 hours before your trip departs. We've offered this plan for decades to give our travelers assurance every step of the way - with no blackout windows or hidden restrictions.

The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) acknowledged Collette as one of their original tour providers, making us the oldest guided travel company in North America. We've learned a lot and made a lot of friends over the years, and you get to benefit from it all.
