“We’re thrilled to add these nominations to our growing list of nods. We were recently named the #1 Mega-ship Ocean Cruise Line by Travel + Leisure, one of Conde Nast Traveler’s Best Cruise Lines in the World in their Readers’ Choice Awards, and received two nominations for Best Cruise Line for Adults and Best New Cruise Ship (Resilient Lady) in The Points Guy Awards. Don’t worry – we’re not letting it go to our heads. We’re continuously honored and grateful whenever our lady ships receive the recognition they deserve. “
Virgin also noted the importance of this recognition for the cruise line, which features Michelin-star chef-curated menus, highly acclaimed entertainment, stellar service and unique itineraries.
In fact, Virgin is adding even more itineraries to its 2024-25 sailing seasons. These itineraries come as the cruise line plans for even more growth in the coming years. In 2024 and 2025, the cruise line will sail to 19 new ports and a return to the UK for the British cruise line. Its “Seachange Series” sailings are also reimagined repositioning voyages that broaden the horizons of cruisers looking to extend cruises to see more of the world.
Among other new adventures Virgin is offering will be 15 brand-new itineraries and nine new ports in Oceania, including Broome, Albany, Adelaide, Newcastle, Mooloolaba, Port Douglas, Brisbane, Eden and Kangaroo Island.
Recently, the cruise line has also been recognized by other popular travel publications, including Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure as a top cruise option for adults.
Voting is now underway for Travel Weekly’s Readers’ Choice Awards and concludes on November 21, 2023.
