The U.S. Travel Association has announced the cities that will host its annual IPW international travel trade show from 2026 through 2030 along with the event's future dates.
Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2026), New Orleans, Louisiana (2027), Detroit, Michigan (2028), Denver, Colorado (2029) and Anaheim, California (2030) have been selected as upcoming hosts.
New Orleans, Denver and Anaheim have hosted IPW in the past while Greater Fort Lauderdale and Detroit will serve as first-time IPW hosts in 2026 and 2028, respectively.
U.S. Travel previously announced the next two host cities. IPW will be held in Los Angeles from May 3-7, 2024, while Chicago will host the trade show from June 14-18, 2025.
San Antonio, Texas hosted this year's iteration.
Considered the leading inbound travel trade show, past IPWs have each generated more than $5.5 billion in future travel to the U.S., the organization points out. The annual event draws around 5,000 delegates—including 1,400 from abroad—for 90,000 scheduled business appointments over three days.
"By serving as host site of IPW, each of these world-class cities will play a key role in growing inbound travel and strengthening the U.S. economy," U.S. Travel President and CEO Geoff Freeman said in a statement. "U.S. Travel looks forward to working with these diverse destinations to bring the world to America—and ensuring IPW remains a can’t-miss event on the global travel industry’s calendar."
"The United States faces intense competition in the race for global travelers," added Freeman. "IPW will remain an indispensable tool in attracting international visitors and positioning the United States as the world’s top travel destination."
U.S. Travel's IPW Future Dates
- 2026: Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida — May 18-22
- 2027: New Orleans, Louisiana – May 3-7
- 2028: Detroit, Michigan – June 10-14
- 2029: Denver, Colorado – May 19-23
- 2030: Anaheim, California – June 1-5
