Mia Taylor
is an award-winning journalist who has two decades of experience. Most
recently she worked as a staff writer for America's largest digital
publisher DotdashMeredith, where she contributed stories on a daily
basis to four of the company's most iconic brands - Parents,Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, and Health. Her work has also appeared in Travel + Leisure, The Boston Globe, The San Diego UnionTribune, Westways Magazine, Fortune, and more.
Mia holds a graduate degree in Journalism and Media studies and is the recipient of nine travel writing awards from the North American Travel Journalists Association. During graduate school she was also the recipient of a prestigious fellowship that included spending a semester working at KPBS—the San Diego affiliate of NPR. While at NPR, Mia was among a team of reporters who received the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. She is is passionate about incorporating sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into travel.
