Virgin Voyages has long striven to set itself apart from its cruise line competition and to follow its own, unique path. Now, after just a few short years at sea, the line was just named the #1 Large Cruise Ship in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2023, an award given to ships that hold between 2,500 and 4000 passengers. The publication said that a staggering half-million readers voted in this year’s competition.
This high honor comes after a series of other recent accolades, including #1 on Travel + Leisure Readers’ 5 Favorite Mega-ship Ocean Cruise Lines of 2023, Cosmo’s Must-Visit list of the most-desired vacations, and a sweep in the 2023 Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice Awards.
With a reach extending around the entire globe, and votes cast by hundreds of thousands of reviewers, the Condé Nast Traveler award encompasses Virgin Voyages’ elevated dining and beverage offerings, brilliant service, cabins and clever cabin-tech, activities, immersive Shore Things, epic destinations, and overall value.
Winning these multiple awards would not be possible without the dedication of Virgin Voyages’ Sea Blazers, Sea Rovers, and all of the Loyalty Sailors who are a part of the newly established Virgin Voyages Sailing Club, the popular cruise loyalty program. Loyalty Sailors have truly helped Virgin Voyages get the word out about what it means to “Set Sail the Virgin Way.”
Although 2023 is starting to wind down, there is a lot more in store with Virgin Voyages for the rest of this year and continuing into 2024.
