Last week, it was unveiled that Real Housewives fans would have a four-night themed cruise onboard the Celebrity Silhouette in January 2024 featuring three of the housewives themselves.
There are a host of themed cruises out there, from wine to wrestling to electronic dance music to yes, even nude cruises.
Their popularity continues to grow, and I doubt it slows down any time soon.
Cruising is a great way to take a vacation, visiting multiple destinations and unpacking only once can be a really refreshing change of pace from other types of travel.
Add in a thousand or more like-minded people based on a specific theme and it just amplifies the overall travel experience.
Most of these you hear about are for the large ocean cruises. I’d love to see more of these themes venture into the river cruising sector.
River cruises have their wine ones sure, along with other themes, but celebrities and pop culture experiences onboard a relaxing voyage down the Nile or on the Rhine would be rather entertaining, I think.
The massive ocean ships can bring more people which equals more dollars, so I don’t see them leaving the big ships anytime soon though.
My top themed cruise I’d want to go on would probably be something to affiliated with food and the culinary experiences, or a golf themed cruise.
